Productivity Places Program

About the Program

The Productivity Places Program is an Australian Government funded imitative, offering jobseekers a great opportunity to gain free qualifications in a range of industries. The Federal government is currently offering to pay for training courses for all jobseekers registered with an Employment Service Provider or Centrelink. This program aims to help people gain the first step into employment and/or to grasp the opportunity of furthering their education in a wide range of fields. 

Do I meet the criteria?

You must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for free training:

• You are registered with an Employment Service Provider OR
• You are registered with Centrelink.
  

In applying for the Productivity Places Program you will need to complete a statutory declaration confirming that you are:

• NOT in receipt of additional or separate funds under any other Australian or State and Territory Government program in relation to the training that will be covered by the Productivity Places Program.
  
• NOT studying full time and NOT currently in the workface.
  
• Seeking or intending to seek paid employment or self employment after completing the qualification.
  
• Was a job seeker prior to entering into the Australian Apprenticeship (if applicable)
  

Depending on your circumstances, you will need to bring along other supporting documents for your enrolment application to be processed.

How do I apply?

• Contact your local Employment Service Provider or Centrelink and discuss with your Consultant your eligibility and the course you are interested in completing at Wesley Vocational Institute.
